The Autel IA700 is a state-of-the-art and versatile wheel alignment pre-check and ADAS calibration system engineered for both in-shop and mobile applications – move from bay to bay and shop to shop.
It features optical positioning that reduces target setup by 6X versus mechanical measurement, unlevel floor compensation that eliminates failed calibrations due to uneven surfaces, and integrated alignment pre-check in a single system and workflow.
Modern vehicle software, sensors, components, and modules interact over multiple communication networks, requiring an advanced diagnostic tool to correct faults before advancing to any structural analysis and safety system calibrations.Powered by an Autel MaxiSYS tablet, the IA700 delivers the industry's most comprehensive, key-to-key vehicle servicing available.

ADAS Calibration
Proper alignment is crucial for ADAS-equipped vehicles. These safety systems depend on an accurate thrust angle and alignment with the road to perform as designed, and misalignment can result in inaccurate and potentially dangerous ADAS calibrations.
IA700 Alignment Pre-check optically determines a vehicle's current alignment specifications and compares them with the manufacturer's allowed tolerances. If within OE-spec, the technician can proceed confidently to ADAS calibration.
Included in the IA700 documentation is an Alignment Pre-Check report that illustrates that the vehicle was tested to ensure it was within OE alignment tolerances before ADAS calibration.
The precise positioning of a camera pattern, target, or radar calibrator is vital to the successful calibration of any ADAS component. Without optical target positioning this process can be tedious and time-consuming.
The IA700 utilizes frame-embedded HD cameras, targeted tire clamps, and positioning software via the MaxiSYS tablet to accurately recognize targets and calculate the current angle, distance, and offset position of the frame to the vehicle.
Easy to follow onscreen instructions prompt the user to move the frame or adjust its angle. Green check marks will appear for each parameter once the required position values are achieved. And that's it – the vehicle is ready for calibration.
Removable crossbars feature six in-frame high-definition tracking cameras that monitor tire clamp target position and robotic frame movement that automatically sets the vertical calibration position with industry-leading accuracy of 0.02 degrees.
Level flooring is one of the critical environmental factors required to achieve successful ADAS calibration. An uneven floor, perhaps due to shop drainage or an unfamiliar mobile site, can result in calibration failure or an unsafe calibration.
IA700 Unlevel Floor Compensation allows for the selection of any type of surface including level floor, unlevel floor, or on a rack, and delivers successful calibration regardless of the flooring status.
The IA700 easily disassembles into 5 primary parts in less than 90 seconds for easy transport.
Minimize the in-shop footprint with detachable crossbars and protect your investment with the included dust cover.
Autel leads the industry in vehicle brand and ADAS technology coverage. With the IA700, shops can calibrate every camera, lidar, and radar-based system on virtually every vehicle that enters their bay, while providing both dynamic and static calibrations.
Autel offers comprehensive static calibration packages with Lane Departure Warning targets and patterns for Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Audi, and Alfa Romeo ADAS-equipped vehicles, and Rear Collison Warning and Around View Monitoring mats for numerous vehicle brands including Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Honda, General Motors, Toyota, and Mitsubishi. Available packages also include radar, lidar, and night vision calibrators.
The Autel MaxiSYS tablet displays easy-to-follow step by step instructions and graphical illustrations to ensure every calibration is performed safely and accurately to OE specs. From pre-calibration vehicle and environment conditioning through positioning, calibration, and documentation, the Autel workflow ensures efficient and reimbursable calibrations every time.
No company offers more comprehensive and insurer-ready documentation than Autel. A Pre-scan identifies existing faults and all safety or convenience systems on the vehicle. The Post-scan includes a detailed report that ensures vehicle owners, sublets, and insurance companies that the faults were repaired, and all OE-required calibrations were performed to OE specifications, requirements, and guidelines.
Autel prides itself on having the fastest OE-released coverage to market in the industry. Still, we depend on vehicle manufacturers to share the latest model diagnostic, servicing, and calibration software and specifications, which creates a lag time for the newest vehicle coverage to reach our tablets. In response to this and to provide a comprehensive, all-in-one solution, we developed the Autel Guided ADAS application.
Autel ADAS users can utilize their MaxiSYS tablet, frame, targets, calibrators, and expedited setup, and a local laptop with an OE subscription or OE tools to calibrate the safety or convenience system on late model vehicles.
If OE subscriptions or OE tools are unavailable, the Autel Remote Expert platform enables access to experienced technicians with OE tools or subscriptions to complete the calibration. Remote Experts are also available for modular flashing, new ECU programming, and OE tasks that are currently not supported by Autel software.
